The Opportunity

Best Match Recruitment is seeking an experienced Communication and Engagement Advisor to support our client’s communications and community engagement activities.

Based in Morwell, the assignment commences as soon as possible and runs until 18 December 2026, resuming from 18 January to 5 February 2027.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop media releases, newsletters, publications and digital content.
  • Support communications planning, media relations and positive media opportunities.
  • Coordinate and evaluate community engagement activities and build strong stakeholder relationships.
About You

You’ll bring strong writing and editing skills, communications and community engagement experience, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Relevant tertiary qualifications and confidence using digital, social media, Microsoft and Adobe tools are required. Local government experience will be highly regarded.

You will also need an IAP2 Certificate of Engagement or sound practical engagement experience, a current Victorian Driver’s Licence, Police Records Check and Working with Children Check.
