Best Match Recruitment was established in Warragul in 2006 when Director Naomi Matchett realised there was a major gap in the market for clients who were looking for professional, premium and personalised recruitment services.

 

While working in a government-funded job placement agency, Naomi would see clients searching for top-quality candidates, only to become frustrated at the limited supply. Naomi saw this as her chance to introduce Warragul’s first private recruitment agency, and her clientele grew exponentially within the first year.

 

Now with over 500 regular clients reaching from the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, throughout West Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley, to far East Gippsland, across to the Bass Coast and everywhere in-between, Best Match Recruitment continues to deliver a premium and unmatched service.

NAOMI MATCHETT

OWNER/DIRECTOR

Having always lived in Gippsland, Naomi has built a strong rapport with members of the local community. With her background as a job search trainer and small business owner, Naomi is more than equipped with the skills required for recruitment and job placement. Naomi has a comprehensive understanding, and firsthand experience, of the factors that can affect the success of a business, and she is passionate about helping businesses reach their full potential by facilitating the acquisition of a perfectly matched and cohesive team of employees.

 

In addition to holding a Diploma of Employment Services, Naomi is recognised for her consulting capabilities, extensive recruitment knowledge and general experience in driving a successful enterprise. This is evidenced by her numerous roles as guest speaker to business groups, leadership programs and business award launches, in addition to her previously held position on the Baw Baw Business Advisory Board. Naomi also ensures that Best Match Recruitment keeps up to date with regular employment and other issues affecting Victorian businesses via her position on the Gippsland Regional Committee for the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

 

As the Owner and Director of Best Match Recruitment, Naomi ensures that exceptional customer service is delivered to all clients. While being renowned for her fresh and innovative approach to recruitment, clients can rest assured that Naomi also has a vested interest in providing the best possible outcome when it comes to providing personnel and human resources solutions.

JACKSON MCKENDRICK

GENERAL MANAGER

Having recently relocated to Warragul after years spent living in Essendon, Jackson is delighted to join the local community and establish strong personal and professional connections. With his experienced background in Account Management and Export markets having worked for large multinational companies, Jackson brings strong commercial and analytical acumen to the Best Match business. Jackson truly understands what it takes to build a successful team and thriving business. He is passionate about working with you to achieve valuable outcomes.

 

Currently undertaking his MBA (Master of Business Administration) Jackson is an energetic individual who prides himself on producing mutually beneficial business outcomes. With a passion for networking and building strong industry connections to learn more about a company’s culture enabling him to provide tailored solutions. Throughout his career Jackson has been active in producing a number of highly successful teams.

 

As the General Manager of Best Match Recruitment, Jackson is committed to providing all clients an exceptional experience. Known for his passion and attention to detail Jackson is committed to providing clear, devoted and sincere service. With a team of high performing recruiting and human resource experts by his side, you’re in good hands.

 

Outside of work, Jackson enjoys travel, sport and his family.

RACHEL GYORFI

RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT / ACCOUNTS & PAYROLL OFFICER

Rachel commenced employment with Best Match Recruitment in 2015.  Beginning her career with us as an Accounts/Payroll Officer, Rachel learned all aspects of the industry from the ground up and has now added to her professional repertoire by becoming a Recruitment Consultant.  Having regularly liaised with our clients and candidates over the years, Rachel has tackled most queries in concern to employment and has mastered the art of tailoring her service accordingly.  Whether it be a question about the current labour market, sourcing suitably qualified staff or relevant industry pay rates, Rachel is here to help.   

 

Prior to Rachel’s career here, she worked extensively within the private sector as well as running her own bookkeeping business, her roles varied from Office Manager to Research Assistant and everything in between. All her positions to date have included elements of Human Resources including end to end recruitment, payroll, training and development. Not to mention she is a registered BAS Agent and a qualified Bookkeeper.

 

So, whether it be an employment enquiry or a finance enquiry, you will be impressed with the knowledge that Rachel imparts.   Combine this expertise with her friendly demeanour and professionalism, you are guaranteed to appreciate what great customer service truly is.

 

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and experiencing new cultures and food.

MADDY BURRAGE

ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

Raised in Warragul, Maddy is very familiar with the Gippsland region and has a desire to remain in the local area. After finishing year 12 in 2020 she moved into the hospitality industry, learning the ropes, and gaining some great skills along the way.

Having made the decision to pursue a role within administration, Maddy applied for a traineeship with Best Match Recruitment and was successfully appointed.

One of Maddy’s greatest strengths is her strong customer service abilities. This combined with her amazing demeanour and her desire to move into business administration made her a great candidate for a traineeship. As of November 2023, Maddy has successfully completed her Business traineeship.

 

Since starting with us here at Best Match Recruitment, Maddy has become an integral part of the team. We look forward to seeing her flourish and see where her career takes her.

 

Whilst not in the office, Maddy enjoys spending quality time with her friends, her partner and the rest of her family. Besides this, Maddy loves being creative with her art.
