Best Match Recruitment was established in Warragul in 2006 when Director Naomi Matchett realised there was a major gap in the market for clients who were looking for professional, premium and personalised recruitment services.

 

While working in a government-funded job placement agency, Naomi would see clients searching for top-quality candidates, only to become frustrated at the limited supply. Naomi saw this as her chance to introduce Warragul’s first private recruitment agency, and her clientele grew exponentially within the first year.

 

Now with over 500 regular clients reaching from the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, throughout West Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley, to far East Gippsland, across to the Bass Coast and everywhere in-between, Best Match Recruitment continues to deliver a premium and unmatched service.

NAOMI MATCHETT

OWNER/DIRECTOR

Having always lived in Gippsland, Naomi has built a strong rapport with members of the local community. With her background as a job search trainer and small business owner, Naomi is more than equipped with the skills required for recruitment and job placement. Naomi has a comprehensive understanding, and firsthand experience, of the factors that can affect the success of a business, and she is passionate about helping businesses reach their full potential by facilitating the acquisition of a perfectly matched and cohesive team of employees.

 

In addition to holding a Diploma of Employment Services, Naomi is recognised for her consulting capabilities, extensive recruitment knowledge and general experience in driving a successful enterprise. This is evidenced by her numerous roles as guest speaker to business groups, leadership programs and business award launches, in addition to her previously held position on the Baw Baw Business Advisory Board. Naomi also ensures that Best Match Recruitment keeps up to date with regular employment and other issues affecting Victorian businesses via her position on the Gippsland Regional Committee for the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

 

As the Owner and Director of Best Match Recruitment, Naomi ensures that exceptional customer service is delivered to all clients. CAMERON NEWMAN

GENERAL MANAGER

Cameron joined the Best Match Recruitment team with over 15 years of high-level business development and sales experience which he has acquired throughout a distinguished career at Spectrum Sales. His most recent role of General Manager of Sales and Operations saw him manage multiple sites and sales teams across Australia, as well as building strong relationships with C-suite clients nationwide.

 

Working his way up through the ranks, Cam has been on both sides of the client-provider table and has a holistic overview when it comes to negotiating mutually beneficial partnerships. He has worked with businesses across a multitude of industries and takes pride in learning about a company’s culture to create a bespoke solution. Throughout his career, Cam has recruited hundreds of employees to cover a variety of roles, and through this experience he has developed a talent for identifying transferable skill sets and looking beyond the resume.

 

Many of our existing and new clients will know Cam’s face, as his local experience and networks built through Spectrum Sales stretch across Gippsland and South East Melbourne. Cam’s approach to business is to be transparent, tailored, committed and fair, and his extensive knowledge of recruiting and human resources practices complements the existing team at Best Match. CARLY SCHMIDT

RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT

As a former business owner and operator in Warragul for over ten years, Carly has always understood the importance of hiring good staff. She built the success of her business by providing world-class customer service which saw her truly excel in client relationship management, building a strong following of loyal clientele.

To grow her sustainable business, Carly knew that she needed to deliver upon the needs and requests of her clients, which is one of the many key skills Carly has applied to her new role as Recruitment Consultant at Best Match Recruitment.

 

With a strong desire to learn and with a genuine interest in all factors that may impact a business, Carly wanted to study more about the human psyche, and thus enrolled in a Bachelor of Psychological Science, which she will complete in 2021.

 

Carly is ready to put her people skills to the test in a new environment, where her vibrant personality and desire to create positive outcomes for clients will surely surpass your expectations.

 

Outside of the office, Carly enjoys renovating, exploring our beautiful state with her family and reading biographies.

RACHEL GYORFI

RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT / ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Rachel commenced employment with Best Match Recruitment in 2015.  Beginning her career with us as an Accounts/Payroll Officer, Rachel learned all aspects of the industry from the ground up and has recently decided to add to her professional repertoire by becoming a Recruitment Consultant.  Having regularly liaised with our clients and candidates over the years, Rachel has tackled most queries in concern to employment and has mastered the art of tailoring her service accordingly.  Whether it be a question about the current labour market, sourcing suitably qualified staff or relevant industry pay rates, Rachel is here to help.   

 

In addition to recruitment, Rachel is continuing to provide exceptional financial services for Best Match Recruitment in her part time role as Accounts/Payroll Officer.  Prior to Rachel’s career here, she worked within the private sector, assisting small to large enterprises with their accounting requirements. She is a qualified Bookkeeper and has regularly undertaken training within the recruitment industry to ensure she is compliant with all state and federal employment regulations.
